The story is set in the 70s and 80s with the aroma of nostalgia for people who lived on those times. It revolves around the life ofDiya Nair, the main protagonist, who is born into a respectable Nair family with a strict mother, an understanding father and a caring sibling Maya. The first chapter narrates Diya’s wedding to Rajagopal, who is ten years elder to her, which is also the turning point in her life. ” Where there is love, there is magic!”
The author has penned an authentic tale interspersed with true incidents and emotions. We travel across Cochin, Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Mumbai along with the chapters. I loved that there are many Keralite customs mentioned by the author with a glossary at the end.
