π€΅ I’ve read very few biographies earlier, but this one is something different! I really enjoy the first person narrative in biographies as it gives a direct look into the mindset of that person. Priya Kumar has always written inspiring stories for her readers and this is her 14th inspirational book!
π€΅ This book narrates the journey of Vashu Shroff also know as ‘Dada’ and his journey of turning a small family business into a successful empire and reaching new heights in the business world. Vasu, born in a small village, had to migrate to Mumbai after the partition. He then moved to Dubai to handle his family business and tirelessly built a successful empire that set him apart from other business in UAE. He also established several temples, schools, hospitals and many institutions across UAE, India and all over the world.
π€΅ We also get to see glimpses of his life struggles, how he handled his business, his feelings when he lost his loved ones and the trust he built over the decades, and his amazing family which stood by him through all the hardships and much more. Though an astute businessman, he is better known for his philanthropic activities and has built a legacy that spans generations
π€΅The Β narrative is written from Vasu Shroff’s standpoint which makes it more interesting! The book is divided into chapters that have been named thoughtfully, each leavinga message. The wisdom in hindsight segment is a collection of thoughts to ponder over and the self-evaluation section can be used for evaluating oneself!
π€΅ I loved that this book has included not only the journey of Mr Vasu, but also gives readers guidance about how to start, where to start, how to believe in yourself and so many valuable tips from his experience. This book is a great motivation for everyone and it will help you positively change your life and make you instantly like Vasu Shroff. I highly recommend this book!
