 Our protagonist is 26-year-old Rohan, who has to deal with a breakup and the loss of his mother. He’s a hopeless romantic who finds it easy to fall in love, but when he is betrayed, the pain is immense. Struggling to deal with both the losses, he tries to end his life.

 After losing touch for decades, Rohan gets a call from one of his long-lost friend Jayesh. Jayesh asks him to play a simple game of life before taking a drastic decision. Does this phone call change his decision and his life eventually?

 First of all, kudos to the author for even thinking to write about post-breakup trauma. Not all of us are taught to deal with the after-effects of leaving a relationship without proper closure. Some of us survive unscathed, but a few might go to the drastic step of giving up. This book teaches us to fall in love again. I wish the author could have also dealt with how Rohan copes with the loss of a parent!

 This is an unfinished love story and might not sit well with everyone, except those who experienced it first-hand. There’s nothing new in the story, but if you want to have newer perspectives in life, then definitely give this book a try!
